This hotel is a step up from modern boutique hotels and the designer created it as completely new style of hotel - calling it Hautel Couture! The hotel rooms are small but stylishly designed and technology-filled, including loaded iPods (on request) and big Plasma screens. They also add a nice touch by leaving a different piece of fruit on your pillow each night, with a card for the weather forecast the next day. There are two exclusive bars, called Dream Lounge and AVA, again especially designed and the new restaurant, Serafina Midtown which serves very high-quality food and ingredients, to a very high society crowd! There is a Deepak Chopra's Chopra Center, and Ayurvedic spa, which caters for artists and guests who want to relax. The hotel's state-of-the-art studio means that the hotel is quite a music industry hang-out - perfect for some but may not be everyone's cup of tea! The staff are well informed but being trendy and friendly don't always go together! Perfect if you're looking for a trendy, minimalist hotel and hoping to catch recording artists at work, but not so great if you're looking for comfort and spacious rooms!

dont waste your time staying here. the rooms are cold and stark - not clean. the toilet handle in our room was broken and it ran all night. personally i think the room was one they usually rented by the hour. the staff is nice but they still didn't change our room when we complained. the only reason we went back was because my husband's little head likes the erotic murals.

My fiance and I went last weekend Nov 14th - 16th. The hotel was in a great location! Central Park, FAO Schwartz, Broadway, Rockafeller Center were only a few blocks away. I highly encourage you to go to the Rock...the top of GE Building. It is...
The hotel was clean, had good decor and was priced fairly. The location was very convenient if Times Square is your destination. I must admit that the rooms were a bit small and lighting was lass then perfect - however this is the trend for all of

Okay
The room was tiny (enough for one double bed, that is literally it.). Don't stay on the 12th floor under the "lounge"...you can hear the music until they close at 4 am and then the people coming out drunk and ready to fight until about 5 am. In...

Good
I'm not sure where all of the hate for Dream comes from. The staff was absolutely great and the service was top notch. We did not have a room near the club on the top floor, but heard it was fairly rowdy. If we were right beneath it, we probably...

The one big problem about this hotel is that the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE. We tried to going to the rooftop bar, but the staff working the door made us feel unwelcome and even talked about us when we were standing just a few feet away. The staff in...

This is a nice, cool, modern hotel. I enjoyed my stay. The first night my internet and air conditioning did not work, and it was very hot. However, I alerted the staff and told them that they needed to be fixed or they would have to move me. They...

The hotel was conveniently located, near Broadway and Fifth Avenue. It was moderately priced for Manhattan and it was an excellent hotel! The room was amazing, small but well designed. The service of all the staff members encountered was above and beyond.
It was so cost effective and it was nice to find such an extremely nice hotel at such an affordable price in midtown New York City.
I am not likely
to return to the Dream Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
