I have been coming to Drake's, both for the motel and the restaurant, for many years, on my annual visit to the Adirondacks. Drake's is family owned, and the family are thorough in attending to every detail. The rooms are simple but comfortable and well maintained, attractive and very affordable. Other restaurants are close by for breakfast and lunch. Drake's is not on Schroon Lake, but is just down the road and close to the marina and the village, so conveniences are nearby. I have had many wonderful vacations based here, and am happy to recommend it.
