female with an economy budget, traveling for leisure
I think there has been some renovations done recently because the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was helpful. Very basic motel but close to bus lines.
pros: DowntownOMG this place is HORRIBLE! My husband and I wanted an economical, short vacation in Portland. I decided on this "hotel" due to the downtown location, and the price ($90/night). We pulled up and my hubby immediately noticed the...

Mediocre
If you have to do anything at PSU or OHSU, then this is worth a look. YOu can walk right on campus. Don't expect luxurious digs, and extra towels seem to be at a premium. Condition of the rooms are not too bad, but the halls smell like ashtrays....

23 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Great location, couple blocks from center of downtown Portland. Recently being renovated but rooms arent bad at all for a cheap motel. Parking is available, but spaces are very tight, be careful not to scratch a fender or loose a side mirror. Rooms are very clean, but some of the power outlets dont work. Theres a cool pizza joint next door, go have pizza, have a couple beers, and play video poker. Anyways, overall, not bad for what you pay for. I believe after all renovation is complete. This wouldnt be a bad place to stay.
