Mediocre
46 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I have been there several times. When you check in, the clerks are rude and not helpful. When you go to the buffet the old blonde who has beeen there a while is rude. I just want to relax and not feel that I have to where my diamonds and fur to get respect. I wont be staying anymore. I would rather stay at the Hampton Inn, it is clean, and the clerks are very helpful. At dover if you need a cab, they throw a phone book up on the counter and tell you to look it up. Hampton Inn gives you the information you need and offers to help you. I just stayed at Dover for the last Nascar race and I was with my husband and son, which we made the reservation for a room with 2 beds 6 months ago and they tried to give us a room with one bed, and we confirmed our reservation 3 nights before for a room with two beds. The beds are no good and the coffee pot did not work, the internet was down due to a convention downstairs and we had to ask for towels. Not worth $250.

Good
35 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business

Our stay was perfect. Staying in one of the newly renovated suites - we enjoyed a king sized bed, three plasma screen TV's and anything else you could want from the attentive staff. We had a great time at the pool and ate at Michele's.

The only thing I'd say is that the casino gets super crowded - that's a good thing in my book. But some people want to go their room when they're losing their money.

Okay
60 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

This is a wonderful establishment. It gives you the feel of being in Las Vegas. I would definitely go back.

Your trip started with the bell hop opening your door and getting your luggage out of the car. They then proceeded to park the car for you. At the front desk, you were warmly greeted as if you were a frequent visitor. The rooms were spacious and luxurious

I am somewhat likely to return to the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

Excellent
54 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We never expected the beauty of the Dover Downs Hotel. What a glamorous huge lobby with beautiful paintings and furnishings, a lovely feast for the eyes upon entering the hotel.

Our rooms were clean and also very tastfully appointed. The king size bed was so comfy and the huge glass enclosed shower was a refershing break from the tiny bathrooms you usually encounter. There were no Nascar races the day we stayed there but our room looked out over the race track and I can imgaine someone who likes the races would love a room that close to the actions. We had a great swim in the indoor pool (with the sun streaming in through the skylights above). We had lovely dinners in the restaurants and gambled in the big bright and very clean casino. We are already making plans to return.

In fact Dover Downs has already called us with free room offers!!

You gotta go...
