34 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for business

During the last week of April 2008, I had a reservation for 1 week. I left for one night in the middle of my stay. I came back to the room and my room had been given to somebody else. My key still worked, but the person in my room put the bar on the door. Otherwise I would have walked in on the person. The fact that my key still worked is a huge security issue. I had documents and items in the room that were not able to be recovered. The management said that they did not see a suitcase in the room so they thought I left the hotel. I had makeup, hair stuff in the bathroom, a cell phone equipment and documents in the room. All of this stuff "could not be found". I was supposed to be reimbursed for my stay and credited for the items that were stollen. It has been over a month and I have not received any compensation. I am also a Hilton Diamond VIP member!!!! I have never had a problem like this at a Hilton or Doubletree. I think I will switch to Westin or Marriott!

59 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My stay was August 17 and 18The ONLY nice things about this hotel were the staff, layout of the hotel and the fact that the rooms were suites which included a kitchenette.

I DID NOT LIKE the rest.

1. In my room one bathroom wall light bulk was out

2. The cold water faucet in the bathroom was not secure..moving all around

3. There was a visible rip in the top bed sheet, and should never have been used.

4. The food in the restaurant and the atrium was overpriced and tasteless. Horrible food.

5. At 4:30 p.m., my second and last evening, the room had not been made up.

6. There was a vacuum left outside my door for two days!

7. Two other rooms my friends were in: One had a large circle of peeled popcorn ceiling with visible leaks on the wall. The other one had a dirty toilet with the toilet tissue lying on the floor with the holder. There was change inside the sofa bed. His room was changed!

The entire hotel needs renovations, desperately!

I attended a wedding. The food was terrible and a place for a conference, certainly not a wedding.

The staff was wonderful. I would stay at the Marriott up the hill, if I were ever to stay in this area again!

The hotel had unstable broadband service and overpriced local telephone access. So take your cell phone with you.

I am not likely to return to the Doubletree Suites Plymouth Meeting.
I would not recommend it to friends.

27 year old woman with a moderate budget

I've stayed in many 3* hotels before, including DoubleTree at Seattle Airport, and I have to say that this is the worst experience ever!

1. The linens are not clean at all. The hotel claims that its policy is to change linens every third day, but during our entire stay (6 days 5 nights), the linens are never changed. I know this because I found my hair on the bed sheet and rashes appeared on my leg during the last night of our stay. But to be fair, I do have a slightly sensitive skin.

2. The housekeeper forgot to leave any towels inside the room, and when we call the housekeeper for towels, we were directed to voice mail, and they never responded to our message. The last night, we have to get some towels from the pool area.

3. We ordered room service one morning, there're a 30 min dilivery window (we chose 9:00-9:30am), but the waiter came in early at 8:50 am and woke us up, which is simply very unprofessional, the breakfast tasted worse than any fast food you can get by the way.

To be fair, the hotel has ample free parking space, and there is a nice and cheap buffet nearby, but that's it. I do not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel. Please trust me since this is the first time I ever compained about anything! Of course I did have some "not so nice" experiences before, but everytime I just choose to let it go, and this is the first time I feel that I have to say something!

During our stay there was a wedding reception and the guests were really loud. The rooms could be more soundproofed to cut out some of the noise. Otherwise, the location and comfort was good.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Doubletree Suites Plymouth Meeting.
I might recommend it to friends.
