Doubletree Ocean Point Resort and Spa

This hotel does need some work but it was said they are rebuilding this one. However, the staff were friendly ; you are right on the beach and there is a wonderful tiki bar. I would definately go back to this hotel and I also recommend it. Me and my husband enjoyed ourselves here.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous. amazing balconies, amazing rooms, stunning bathrooms, gorgeous food. room service meal was on a par with any 5 star restaurant I've ever eaten in.

I'm from Ireland and travel transatlantic for leisure pretty regularly and have never had it this good. the Embassy Suites Manhattan comes close!!

Pay the extra for a minimum one bed suite. Worth every penny!

Overall it was a very good stay. The hotel was in a nice location, with good sized room and the pool and the jacuzzi open all night long. We did have a problem with cleaning services as they never showed.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Even with the late check in everything was ready and they had those warm cookies.

I loved everything about this hotel. It's on the beach front, close to restaurants, nice food, the room was clean and the view from the balcony was amazing.

It's very good for families with kids since the beach is quiet and calm. The hotel is a little far from the South Beach night life so if you want to do something at night you'd better rent a car or walk to a few stores across the street from the hotel.

Expect to pay extra for your beach service and for the fitness center facility.

Good value but not excellent for the money in expensive area, with construction next door Monday through Saturday. No construction on Sunday. Be sure to ask for room away from construction south side of hotel Unusual design gives partial view of ocean even from side rooms, and excellent view of ocean from beach side rooms. Expensive valet parking, who were observed to bump a car into a barrier while we waited for our car without any signs that owner was notified, and extra charges above and beyond normal room and food including towels for swimming, and extra daily charge for internet connection.
