44 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
I liked the helpful employees at the desk and taxi stand. I did not like that I booked a smoking room and was initially given a non-smoking. This was remedied immediately. I did not like that there were no ashtrays in the room, and I had to call to get one. This was remedied immediately also.

I enjoyed its proximity to the metro. Even though it was in downtown Washington, it was not as overwhelming as other parts of the city.

It was a wonderful hotel. The location was great. The bar was outstanding. The staff and services were very good.
This hotel made me feel inspired: It was our first trip to DC. The location was within walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see. We never got lost the whole time we were there. The cookies were so good.

The hotel was in a convenient location. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in terms of the room and the hotel, but not knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would stay there again.

This hotel has a good restaurant. However, housekeeping was not attentive to guests being in the room - they ignored the Do Not Disturb sign. A smoking room was provided when a non-smoking was reserved (I was a patient with asthma).
