I reserved me a hotel at 5:00 pm and cancelled at 6:00pm and they charged me 100% for the room and that was $164.24. I never stayed at the hotel. Don't do businss with these guys.

I was attending for a professional course. The location is in a sketchy part of town which made walking for lunch uncomfortable. Driving is the ONLY option at night. The hotel is dirty. We had dirty towels in our room. The hallways had visible trash all over the floor and food that people left outside to be picked up for 2 days in a row. There were dead cockroaches in the main bathrooms and people found bugs in their salads at the hotel restaurant. The accomodations for the conference were less than desirable and the hotel did not accomodate a request for a change. The bathroom used by course members was not cleaned in the 2 days we attended and, by the end, ran out of towels.

Good
Great airport hotel and the staff was friendly and attentive. The room was fine for a airport hotel. My only gripe was the bathroom..it felt really cheap, and probably could us a bit of an update. The shower needs a complete overhaul.

Okay
The carpet was old, fairly worn and stained in parts; the bed was a bit too soft. Room heater was noisy. Promised parking included... declined valet parking and fee.
Not enough electric plugs in room--bedside lamps were plugged in with long...

Good price, poor quality. Very limited staffing, you have to park your car in an underground garage that can be accessed with ONE elevator only. During my stay that ONE elevator was OUT OF SERVICE, and no one was around to help with the bags. Rooms are extremely outdated. Only good thing was central location.
I am not likely
to return to the Doubletree Hotel Richmond Downtown.
I would not recommend it to friends.
