Stayed during a conference at the Ontario convention center and found it to be very disappointing. This hotel was supposed to be the "partner" hotel of the conference which most attendees (rather large conference) were staying at. The room was smaller than most doubletree/hilton rooms I've stayed in and it had a distinct smell of what could be described as puke and bleach.
When I arrived it was just hitting 90 degrees so I was looking forward to a chance at a nice pool but unfortunately for some reason this location has decided to renovate their pool and so it was not open. Why would they choose to start renovation in the start of the convention season? This was very disappointing as part of the reason to come out to CA is to have some water to swim in. The grounds were nice but walking anywhere around the parking lot you would be approached by panhandlers.
The staff was friendly however and they seemed to be making an honest effort while management was not. Overall if your getting a conference rate its worth staying at but beyond that I'm going to be looking at other hotels in the area if i come to this convention center again.
