Stayed here recently for business. I used Kayak and TravelPost to find the hotel, and then I bid $50.00 for a Norwalk, 3 star hotel and ended up at the DoubleTree. I still like the chocolate chip cookie upon check in. My room had a flat screen TV

Mediocre
I stayed here one night in January, 2008. Room service dinner from the restaurant in the lobby was terrible. There was no hard-wired internet access, and the wireless adapter the hotel provided did not work.

Hot chocolate and cookies were the best I've ever had since Mrs Fields. The king size bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! Was disappointed the bathroom did not have a vent fan.

Mediocre
We were charged top dollar for a less than mediocre hotel. Water leaked in bath. Commode tank would not refill. Empty soda bottle on floor. 2 Phones in room but only 1 was operable. Alarm clock could not be set. Staff not responsive.
I called the hotel directly but was connected to central reservations. I had a hard time and disconnect from the reservatioist before I could ask for an email confirmation. I had to call back 3 times to get someone to clear it up.

Very disappointing for a Hilton Doubletree. The staff was disinterested, the halls were dirty, and the rooms were extremely small. The plants in the outdoor planter were even dead from lack of watering.
The only thing this hotel had going for it was the bathrooms amenities and the Starbucks coffee in the lounge.
