Doubletree Hotel Downtown Wilmington Hotel - Page 1

I ordered the sweet romance package that was advertised through the Doubletree's website, and nothing was like the package discribed. The wine wasnt in the room at the time of arrival 2 hours later it showed up, breakfast in bed was cold, and the late check out! Ha! We were told we could check out at 2 o'clock and at almost 10 after 12 we recieved a call from the lobby telling us we had to check out.

This is a nice hotel, they just finished renovations and it is now the Doubletree Wilmington Downtown. This is a new hotel, the staff was great. The indoor pool and shuttle service was great, too. It’s the only hotel in downtown Wilmington that has a shuttle, it’s nice when it rains. This hotel is nicer then the Dupont hotel, and it’s a much better value.

The hotel was the most conveniently located for where I had to be. The staff was nice and the room was comfortable. They also had van service to the train station when I left.
