Doubletree Hotel Cleveland South

This hotel is very dated. It looks like an attempt was made to "flip" the hotel. However, the quick-fixes that were made to hide the age of the hotel weren't very successful.

The rooms are very small, and the bathrooms are tiny. The caulk between the tiles in the bathroom was cracked and discolored. The bathtub was old, and it took forever to drain. I had to keep holding down the handle on the toilet to get it to flush. Also, there is no vent fan in the bathroom.

The room could have been cleaner as well. The bedspread was stained. I found someone's fingernail clippings on the floor between the bed and the chair.

With the name "Doubletree", I expected better quality.

It had an excellent location, near everything. It had good sized rooms, very neat, and clean. It had comfortable beds and pillows. I highly recommend this hotel to all.

This hotel made me feel respected: From the moment of arrival, all employees were friendly and addressed us as sir. I was asked numerous times by different employees if there was anything they could help me with.

This is a generally well run hotel in a convenient location and a decent value. We had two minor complaints. We requested a non smoking room and it was not available at check in. The bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked.

The front desk staff was very helpful. I needed to purchase items for a wedding I was in, and they helped me find the closest mall location and gave me detailed directions on how to get there.

I was satisfied with the hotel.
