The check-in process was prompt, front desk clerk was friendly and pleasant. The room was OK, bed is outstanding even though a bit too firm, but the bathtub was absolutely filthy. There was mold all over the tiles as well as under the bathtub non-slip pad, which had come off and underneath was completely gross. I had to complain about it and to their credit a maintenance person came over and spent half an hour leaving it spotless with a new pad. But it should never have been that way at all in the first place, after all, this is supposed to be a HILTON!!?? The restaurant food is very good and the service there is outstanding. The room service is extremely fast and the room service folks are friendly and professional. The shuttle doesn't operate all day long and doesn't operate on Friday's or weekends, which in my opinion is not a good thing to do for people staying over the weekend. The location is OK but the shuttle really is needed if you don't have a car. Taxis are available, but why not operate the shuttle at least some of the time on Friday's and weekends? The nearest restaurant is about half a mile away, which is not too bad except Schaumburg is by far the most pedestrian-unfriendly city I have ever visited. Some streets don't have any sidewalks, forcing you to walk on the street or medians. All in all, I have to agree that the hotel is three-star quality.
