We recently stayed at the Doubletree Hotel Charlotte Airport with another couple the night before we were to depart for a cruise.
Between 9 pm and 12 midnight on a Saturday night, four vehicles located in the hotel parking lot within 100 feet of the front entrance, were broken into, and all their valuable contents, including luggage, were stolen. This hotel provides no reasonable level of security for their guests and the Charlotte Metro Police Department reports that the area is known for this type of crime.
I wish someone had advised us of these facts before our vacation was ruined.
