Doubletree Hotel Charlotte Airport Hotel - Page 2

I like the location. It was close to everything but not in a congested area. The people were friendly. The rooms were clean. The only thing that I think they could improve on was the size of the TV. I am planning on staying there next time I go to Charlotte.

This hotel made me feel secure: The area that it was located at was a nice area.

The airport van service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was okay.

My stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Charlotte was excellent. The shuttle picked me up from the airport and brought me back to the hotel, which was great. Room service and desk personnel were also nice and friendly. I would definitely stay there again during my next trip to Charlotte.

This was fine - except that Wyndham will not offer points when the room is on a corporate card -- which doesn't make sense. If I put it on my credit card and submit an expense report I'm still not paying.

I was very impressed with the modernity of the room decorations. It made me feel that I was in a clean room. The bed had a modern (not the usual 1980) comforter and it was an extremely comfortable and a reasonably priced room.

I joined their membership rewards program onsite, but it did not become effective that stay. It would seem that this should be something that could be changed

They served a great breakfast!

I asked to connect to their computer system and was charged an additional $10. 00 per day to use computer and the internet. I was not informed of a special fee to have room phone activated until attempting to make a phone call.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I felt welcome there because of the check in process, the clerks were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: I was relaxed there because the room was comfortable and atmosphere made you feel relaxed.

The front desk was rude and put me in the furthest room away from the elevators when they saw had to use a cane and had a very active 5 yr old child. The rest of the staff was nice professional and respectful.
