Doubletree Hotel Charlotte Airport

We recently stayed at the Doubletree Hotel Charlotte Airport with another couple the night before we were to depart for a cruise.

Between 9 pm and 12 midnight on a Saturday night, four vehicles located in the hotel parking lot within 100 feet of the front entrance, were broken into, and all their valuable contents, including luggage, were stolen. This hotel provides no reasonable level of security for their guests and the Charlotte Metro Police Department reports that the area is known for this type of crime.

I wish someone had advised us of these facts before our vacation was ruined.

I got a clean, comfortable room. There was some construction going on. It was a short drive to several very nice casual dining facilities.

I loved the location and the architecture of the building itself. The only difficult aspect was the parking situation.

We stayed there for our wedding night. There was wine and snacks in our room. We enjoyed the good service.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: There was a card congratulating us in our room when we arrived.

I really enjoyed everything but the TV was too small.

This hotel made me feel important: They were always polite and treated me with respect.
