The clean rooms and welcome cookie had a good touch. The front desk clerk seemed surprised to see us.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I was uneasy at check-in but the nice room quickly changed that.

I have always been very pleased with Doubletree. I have stayed there twice in Asheville and would recommend it to anyone. It is quiet and the rooms are always very nice.

I felt the reservation clerks were not as helpful as they should have been. I work for a large company who gets a discount rate. At the same time I needed a room, we were having another large group from our company stay there. I was told the number of rooms allowed for my company was booked and I could not get the company rate. I was able to have someone else call and get the rate I desired. The location was excellent and the rooms were very nice. I would advise tourists to stay there.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again if I can.

My only problem with this hotel was in confirming the reservation, which took five phone calls -- three in one day. I really enjoyed two front desk staff members in particular. Two others were actually rude, though.

The Doubletree was very clean and accommodating. Some friends found nicer hotels in Asheville at a better rate, but overall we were pleased with our stay.
