Doubletree Hotel Asheville

We stayed at the base of the estate. It was conveniently located to our destination. The atmosphere was very nice and the outside scenery was pretty. It was on a highway but we were tucked in the back and found it to be very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very accommodating. One problem we had was we were told our estate tour tickets would be at the hotel in our reservation confirmation and they had to be picked up at the estate.

This hotel made me feel secure: We had to use the room key for the elevator and the door locks were safe.

The hotel and service were excellent. The hotel was located perfectly next to the Vanderbilt estate and minutes away from downtown Ashville.

This hotel made me feel elegant: We reserved a suite which was well laid out with excellent views of the garden. The room was well decorated with quality furniture and treatments.

The service in the adjoining restaurant was non existent. We arrived late in the evening. We actually sought out the wait staff after waiting for about fifteen minutes.
