Excellent
Subway is on the same corner, you can get anywhere from the hotel. Walking distance to several shows, Rockefeller Center and you can walk to Central Park without small children. The hotel feels extremely safe. There are always bellmen at the door...

We have stayed at Doubletree properties many times and have always had a good experience. The Doubletree at Times Square was very similar. GREAT location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of the city....

24 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel was in the center of Times Square, as advertised. This was very convenient for quick trips back up to the room when the weather became too hot outside. The staff was efficient and helpful. The room itself was alright, nothing spectacular, but not unsatisfactory. I would have expected a little more for the amount we were paying. The view from the room was incredible.
The beds were very comfortable and there was enough furniture in the living room for the two of us to lounge very comfortably while watching the pay per view movies.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square New York City.
I might recommend it to friends.

The location was terrific, in walking distance to all the Broadway shows. The bellmen were great, but the room service was slow and they were not able to bring us what we asked for. The restaurant was ok, but nothing to write home about. I would stay there again for the location alone.
There was always a bellman or a guard at the entrance checking to make sure that only guests were entering the hotel. Additionally, there were bellmen and guards at each floor window toward Times Square on New Year's Eve.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square New York City.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
