The price was well above what I am accustomed to paying, but it was near a convention that I was attending (Marriott Marquis). Although the convention price at the Marriott Marquis was the same as at the Doubletree Suites, I chose the Doubletree.
This hotel made me feel pampered: I was given a nice upgrade to a higher floor. The hotel staff was very accommodating.
