50 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed on an 8th floor room with an outstanding view of the Atlantic Ocean. All rooms are oceanfront, although the ground floor (pets only) looks into the dunes and probably not much view over them. The hotel was formerly a Quality Inn & Suites and was closed for 2 1/2 years from hurricane damage and for remodeling. It reopened as a DoubleTree summer of 2006. The room smelled very clean. In fact everything looked new due only being opened for 1 year. The balcony sliding glass door is hurricane rated. The living area is perfect for the kids to use as their own bedroom as there is a sliding wooden door that separates the bedroom from the bathroom and living area. The pool is heated with plenty of lounge chairs. White sand beach which generally isn't too populated, Cocoa Beach and farther north getting most of the crowds. Lounge chairs are available for rent on the beach along with umbrellas. $25 for 2 chairs and umbrella. Ice machines on every EVEN floor and soda machines on the ODD floors. We didn't eat at the hotel, however, there is a Pizza Hut about 1/2 mile south (great for the kids) and The Chart House is about 4 miles south heading west on 192 just over the intercoastal. We will definitely be back!

This one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff was remarkable! The hotel was spotless! The bed was pure heaven along with the bedding.

I was on the 7th floor and I slept with my balcony door open and listened to the ocean all night long! The back door faced the Indian river and sparkled with city lights at night. It was peaceful, and wonderful! I would never stay anywhere else if I were in this area. NEVER!

This hotel made my vacation! It was recommended to me by my cousin that lives in the area. I didn't mention the cookies. They give you warm cookies upon your arrival. I miss em already. I stayed there in November of 2007 and cannot wait to go back! Thank you Double Tree! Laura of Minnesota

(Hilton Diamond Member). This hotel is situated right on the beach. Check in took 3 minutes, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. A bathroom and wet bar separates the main bedroom from a sitting area / kid's pullout sofa bed. The hotel staff are friendly and polite, but during breakfast the restaurant was very understaffed. All rooms face the Atlantic with a small but private balcony.

I am very likely to return to the Doubletree Guest Suites Indialantic.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

They have a friendly staff, and it's smack dab right on the beach. They have clean rooms, and a restaurant and bar in the building! They also have a nice pool and hot tub.

There' no bathtub, just a shower (but the water pressure was great) but no ice machine on every floor.

I will stay again, and already have a friend that has made a reservation.

23 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I loved the room. The room had a separate living area with a small table to eat at, a large sofa bed, a chair with an end table and coffee table. This living area also contained a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and a large TV.

Then I walked into a hall with tiled floors. There is a beautiful vanity and to the left a walk-in glass shower and toilet. Past the bathroom is a large bedroom. Ours had a king size bed with two nightstands and a large dresser with another large TV. The bed was very soft and comfortable with very luxurious bedding. In this room there is a large sliding glass door that leads to a private balcony for two facing the ocean.

The hotel staff was very friendly. Everyone we passed greeted us. The spa and pool were very nice. The only issue we had the whole time was when we arrived they were upgrading the A/C. We were without A/C all day Friday. Luckily, the breeze was nice outside and the room was comfortable with the balcony door open.
