My fiance and I choose the DoubleTree Hotel based on location and price. We reserved a room block to accomadate our out of town guests. We had more than the required amount of guests book at the hotel for my fiance and I to receive a free room for the two nights we stayed there, but they did not hold their end of the bargain. I made gift baskets for all 25 guests staying there and nearly half of them did not receive the baskets until they were settled into their room hours after check in. I probably could of handled these situations considering planning a wedding is stressful enough, but I have never in my life experienced such rudeness and inflexibility from a staff whose job is based in customer service. We will never recommend family or friends who visit us in Florida to stay at that hotel.
