Doubletree Guest Suites Boca Raton Hotel

My fiance and I choose the DoubleTree Hotel based on location and price. We reserved a room block to accomadate our out of town guests. We had more than the required amount of guests book at the hotel for my fiance and I to receive a free room for the two nights we stayed there, but they did not hold their end of the bargain. I made gift baskets for all 25 guests staying there and nearly half of them did not receive the baskets until they were settled into their room hours after check in. I probably could of handled these situations considering planning a wedding is stressful enough, but I have never in my life experienced such rudeness and inflexibility from a staff whose job is based in customer service. We will never recommend family or friends who visit us in Florida to stay at that hotel.

Other guests that were staying next to our room were very loud and disruptive.

The elevators broke several times while we were there. There was a junior hockey league convention at the hotel and the kids played floor hockey in the hotel hallways, outside our room. We complained several times and little was done to ameliorate the situation.

The only problem was the horrible guests yelling outside our room late at night.

It's conveniently located. I love that they offer face wash and moisturizer with the toiletries. There is a refrigerator and microwave in every room, and a separate sitting area so that we could put the baby to sleep and still watch TV. You can't beat the cookies.

This hotel made me feel practical: It's a down to earth place with not a lot of luxury, but the amenities are nice, the internet fast, and the staff courteous.
