It is not very expensive, but the breakfast they serve is a rip off. My advice is to walk across the street for breakfast at the Waffle House instead.

The food options were quite limited, the lobby and the eating areas appeared worn and antiquated.

The suites are terrific. This is a converted Embassy Suites hotel, so you get all the room for a lesser price. The breakfast is very expensive but there are other eating places nearby. It is close to the interstates.

I was very impressed with this hotel. They are great. I would stay there again.
This hotel made me feel practical: It was the best deal for the money.

49 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The location was convenient. My suite was nicely appointed. But the couch fabric was torn and bathroom wallpaper had peeled in three places. The Care Line was busy on each of the eight attempts. Our room was not ready on our arrival at four PM, and desk clerk was not particularly helpful or even responsive.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The beds were nice with lots of pillows that did not seem used.

The lobby area was really nice and friendly. They had a business center set up so I could check emails and such for work during my stay. Also, my stay there was during an important holiday and the staff went out of their way to find information out for me and help me.
This hotel made me feel respected: They made me feel important when I went to them for some help and information. They looked me in my eyes and talked to me on a personal level.

45 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business
The hotel room showed signs of wear and age, and was not entirely clean on arrival. Though I specifically requested a quiet room, I found the room with both interior courtyard door and poor-condition exterior windows rather noisy (I was two doors down from the elevators). The staff was very friendly and helpful but the hotel does not measure up to standards expected from a Doubletree, especially at the rate they were charging.

This was listed as a gay friendly hotel, but I saw no sign of that.

Too far away for walking to places of entertainment or shopping. Too expensive to take their shuttle to downtown for site seeing.
