This is one of the most pleasant places to stay. The only place that is comparable is the hotel where stayed in Rio de Janeiro, which also went way out of its way to make me feel welcome.
When I checked in, I was treated as if were a valued guest. The clerk at the desk was attentive to me and no one else. I was registered quickly and made to feel very welcome. The man who took me to the room was very friendly.

The doubletree in downtown Dayton, Ohio could use an overhaul - it's very well used. Every time I've stayed, I've had problems with cleanliness. Maybe redecorate as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful though.

The furniture is old, and the rooms have a 'well-used' appearance... Bathrooms are never clean enough upon arrival, usually always have to ask for a different room or to have my room cleaned again.
