The staff is very friendly, they give a warm welcome to their guests. Rooms were very clean. Even if its in downtown, it is very safe and quiet here. They have a wide variety for breakfast. The restaurant food tastes good.

I stayed for one night to find the hotel in a great downtown location with many activities close by the hotel. The benefits stop there. The hotel is in an older building with many flaws in the renovation. My room was on the concierge floor and I...

I stayed at this hotel in May and loved it so much I came back in June. The hotel is beautiful and offers something for everyone.
The fact that they offer happy hour every day from 5.30-7 is something that will get people to enjoy the place. You can get 2 free drinks plus they offer snacks and it's nice to sit in the lobby and people watch, look out the windows, and talk.
There are two restaurants that are great – Polo Grille and Cricket’s Lounge - or there are many places to walk to as well nearby. The rooms are big and the bed is big and comfy. Bathroom is nice with separate area for toilet and shower. Suites are really nice and come with a living room and then a separate bedroom.
The breakfast buffet in the morning is great. Where else can you go and get pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, muffins, and bagels included?!
Didn't use the pool at all but saw it and it looks nice and has a nice view of Dayton from Seventh floor. The lobby itself is nice enough just to sit in and socialize.
For the price this hotel gives back quite a bit. The location is great and close to everything. You can't go wrong staying here.

The hotel was beautiful, my only problem was the bar. We were given complimentary drinks at the bar and when we got there, they had no access to anything but two bottles of wine.

The Doubletree is centrally located and easy to get to. The staff is all very friendly and ready to help in any way possible. The rooms are clean and well kept. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in.
You are first greeted by the valet parking attendants, who are very nice. Then you are warmly greeted by the front desk associates. Everything we asked for was taken care of immediately. And of course, you can't forget the wonderful cookies that the Doubletree is known for! They are delicious!
I am very likely
to return to the Doubletree Hotel Dayton-Downtown.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
