They have a very nice staff. I loved it.

This hotel made me feel respected: The staff was always polite and ready to assist.

The hotel was in a nice location and was very comfortable. I was there for Scrap convention; I had a problem in the hospitality suite and the hotel staff was very rude about it to our host at the convention. Also, they would not allow food in the banquet room.

The hotel was easy to get to and comfortably located by the waterfront and historic attractions, and within walking distance of the downtown district. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and afforded pleasing views of either the waterfront or the downtown area. We were there for a family wedding and reception; the staff was very accommodating to our requests and allowed us extra access to the banquet facilities during our stay. The only thing I would change about the hotel would be the pool which was designed more for fun (it was too small and shallow to swim in properly) than for exercise or recreational swimming.

I liked that it was close to downtown shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the furnishings and room decor were beautiful. I loved that they gave out warm cookies at check-in, and the pillow on each bed that had the words 'Sweet Dreams' sewn on it. Also, the beds were extremely comfortable with their down mattress pads and down comforters -- like sleeping on a pillow.

I would like their chocolate chip cookie recipe.
