This place is a joke! We arrived in Miami Beach after a 6 hour drive and found our way to this dive.
When we arrived at the hotel, we could not find any place to park. My wife approached an employee who was hanging with one of his friends in the front parking lot. She asked him where we should park and his reply was "We are full." She told him we were staying at the hotel and had reservations and again asked him where we could park. He shrugged her off and sent her to the front desk. As I circled the block, my wife went inside and inquired about parking at the front desk. They advised her that the parking was full and the hotel did not guarantee parking. They told her to park in a parking garage a few blocks away and the cost would be $30.
After driving all day, we reluctantly parked our vehicle and struggled with our luggage and children to make it inside the hotel. The staff just watched us as we carried our belongings in, not offering any help.
We checked into our room that smelled like mold. I could go on and on about the room, but I honestly don't have the time. The TV did not work. There were pubic hairs on the bathroom floor. The shower doors were not on the track, and I could barely open or close them. One of the beds slumped to the floor. At first I thought it was an adjustable bed, but soon realized someone had humped it to death.
We have been to Miami several times, and have never had such a miserable experience. I was very happy to return to the United States!
