Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa - Page 3

I had always wanted to spend my honeymoon at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, but it did not meet my expectations. It is the most expensive resort by far and it is not worth the money, in my opinion. I would not recommend it for anyone with kids, as most of the people we encountered were rich, older people. There was nowhere to get food or drinks, not even a vending machine anywhere on the resort property if you were hungry or thirsty after the restaurant closed. It was quite disappointing.

The hotel is in a great location. It is close to the theme parks. There are many dining options around.

This hotel is great, has a wonderful staff, has a central location yet is quiet. My advice to others would be to stay in a 'lagoon view' room. I simply loved the experience overall.

The hotel is convenient to parks, there's no need for outside transportation. The rooms were very comfortable and roomy enough for three adults.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The view from our room was spectacular. We had a direct view of Cinderella's castle at the Magic Kingdom. The Christmas decorations and atmosphere of this hotel can't be beat. There was a life-size gingerbread house in the lobby, a tree that was four stories tall, carolers singing in the lobby each night, and a live orchestra playing through the evening. If you want to pamper yourself, this is the ultimate experience at Walt Disney World.

As always, Disney provided top customer service -- any questions I had were promptly answered. I liked the quality food, the friendliness of the staff, and the comfortable room. All amenities are provided and are also top quality.

It was everything we expected and more! It had great service. Getting a concierge room was well worth it.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and always ready to help you. It had convenient transportation to all of Disney's parks and attraction so you really did not need a rental car at all. We had an all-inclusive package (hotel, park admission, meals etc.) which made the trip more enjoyable as you didn't have to worry about what this or that would cost.
