Disney's Contemporary Resort

The hotel is great. The atmosphere is amazing. The food was good and the pools were great aswell. The monarail was very convienient. Next were staying at the Coronado Springs....i hope its just as good as the contemporary.

The room looked like it had recently been renovated. It was very nice, especially the bathrooms. The view was spectacular! Food was....well what you'd expect at Disney...average.

Housekeeping, however, was very, very poor. Sheets were not changed that we had accidentally spilled food. When I called housekeeping to request soap (we'd been there 4 days and not once was our soap/shampoo/etc. refilled). The rep who answered was blatantly not happy to be working or on the phone with me. (For the record, I was very polite when I called).

However, when the housekeeper arrived with the soap (she brought 4 times as much as I had requested, making it look like I was a whiner and she wanted to shut me up), she was one step away from being outright rude. She looked directly at me with a glare, handed me approximately 15 items (I requested 2), and walked off, WITHOUT A WORD.

I later spoke to the General Manager. He apologized, but I have a 10% assurance that he said a word to the management in housekeeping.

The hotel was amazing. It had great accessibility to all transportation and everyone there was very nice and helpful.

This hotel made me feel important: Everyone would say hello and they gave me and my two kids first time visitor buttons. When any employee saw us they asked how we liked the hotel and they gave us things.

It was a beautiful room. The hotel had excellent facilities and great in room amenities, as well as a superb location on the Monorail line! It was clean and quiet. I have stayed in both the Tower and the South Garden wing and both were great locations.

This hotel made me feel content: They provided all the services we needed. I knew that there was not anything I needed to worry about and that I had made the right choice in a hotel.

It was a great spot, with easy access to everything.
