It was a great vacation to Disneyland.
However, after a 6 hour drive from Arizona to get to Anaheim, we were all tired. It took us a while to get checked in, but that was because of my dad's habit of talking for a long time. Anyway, once we got to our suite, it was amazing. The Disney decorations were amazing from the pixie dust border on the wall, to the map of Treasure Island of the TV cabinets.
We had concierge service so we had access to a concierge lounge and if you had a question about the parks you could always go to the front desk and ask them. The employees were very helpful and courteous, and we celebrated two birthdays there and the food we ordered through room service for those occasions was delicious.
The beds were comfortable and they even left chocolates on the pillows every night and on the first night a box of cookies. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with towels, soaps, shampoos, etc.
The hotel rooms were also very clean and they had a small mini refrigerator in each bedroom and in the "kitchenette" (basically a small cabinet with a counter and a mini fridge but it was useful. Two of the couches turned into beds which was useful because with a family of 8 (6 kids and two adults) we needed additional beds because there were only three physical beds.
The walk to the monorail wasn't too bad though the Grand Californian hotel was closer, it's still not too bad of a walk. So, anyway my family had a fabulous time and we hope to be able to go there again sometime.
