My husband and I have stayed here on a few occasions, overall I enjoyed it. They are renovating all areas of the hotel and the casino right now, which may cause some people, upsets. They have a nice pool to enjoy and the rooms are very nice. I'm not a smoker but my husband is and staying in the smokers room wasn't bad at all for me. I don't know much about the convention center but from what I saw as I snooped it looked nice to me. Changes are being made and depending on what you're there for I guess would make up each persons mind. It's a nice place even now as they're in the middle of changing decors... We will go back. If you have children, there's a nice little fun center with all kinds of games for the kids to play. As well, they have an all night snack type place that serves hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, ect...

My husband and I stayed at Diamond Jacks. We had a ball. The only thing we did not like was the food area closed at like 9 pm, and the bed was hard. But we had a blast and we are going back there this Thrusday.I can not wait.

Run away. I just checked into this flea bag, and can't leave because my conference is here.
The rooms are outdated, and they stink. The staff is surly and unreliable. There is no high-speed internet connection in the rooms. When you ask, they tell you that there is a dial-up connection in the rooms, but they do not tell you that you will be changed hotel-rate long distance if you use it. When you complain about this, they tell you about the "business center."
The "business center" is a 10X10 room off the lobby with three computers with high speed connections and a crappy copier. There are only two decent chairs, so the third user has to stand.
The really weird thing is that this hotel advertises itself as a conference center. A conference center with no high-speed in the crappy rooms?
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I've only been here an hour and a half.
Did I mention that an hour of that was spent in line to check in. The key machine was broken.
