Okay

The Sheraton is a nice enough hotel, but I found their prices higher than comparable hotels in the area. I have only stayed here once, but make sure and do your homework.

pros: its downtownWhen this hotel opened in the 1960s it was an absolute jewel! it had antique furniture in the lobby and huge crystal chandeliers, rosewood doors and oriental carpet, and when i went back there to see about the supposed remodeling...

traveling for leisure

Rooms are redecorated and nice, but still very tiny, especially the bathroom. Valet parking had four of our families cars parked in the hotel parking structure for one night. Next morning, one had all the gas siphoned from it, and one had a slash

I remember in past years when they used to have the jazz nights on the open deck... good music, drinks, food.

Room service was great, though I more often was downtown sampling the various restaurants.

When you pay for a room, you expect some basics. You won't get them here. We stayed twice two weeks apart (second time FREE), so we have a good idea of how the place is run. The first time the weather had just gotten to 80 degree for the first time...
