AC was clunky and woke us up at night by kicking on. Fan could not be adjusted to stay on and no floor fan was available from facilities. Accommodations were very nice. We hung up our towels for reuse but they replaced them anyway, not very green of

This enormous hotel offers many discounts if you know who to ask. We were lucky enough to get a $99 rate for our team when we traveled there for a game. It always hosts athletic teams and it's in the heart of downtown, so you can walk everywhere. ...

Have stayed 10 times this year. Have had issues at least 4 times with the staff on mistakes they made that inconvenienced me. More expensive than the Courtyard across the street. Rooms are a push, gym is worse, food is better. No free internet access. If I had to choose I would pick the Courtyard.

It was perfect for our conference needs, I loved the classic car display on the bottom floor and I loved the access to shops. Anyone visiting Detroit, first time or subsequent, would truly enjoy this hotel. The daily room cleaning was impressive.
The bed was comfortable. The pillows were very comfortable and they allowed for restful sleep. There were always clean towels when I returned to my room in the evenings.
I am very likely
to return to the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
