We were there in august 2008. The Location was great close to downtown, the rooms were clean everything worked. The staff was good. Price was great. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but for the price you can’t go wrong.

The last time I stayed here it was the Travelodge, but they've changed the name to the Desert Rose Inn and have new owners I'm told. The rooms are standard, but clean and I got a much better feeling dealing with the staff this time. The pool was being cleaned and I couldn't find a soda machine, the manager said they're changing companies. The place was packed for the Memorial Day weekend, but it was a decent crowd and for the price and drive-in convenience close to downtown I'd recemmend the motel.
We'd give it a second try.

Okay
Stayed here Memorial Day Weekend. Lot of people. We always liked the drive-in motels over the bigger hotels and the price was okay considering it was hard to find a room. Its close to downtown and easy to find on the main street. The pool was...

Unless you LOVE bad service, and filth. We checked in with two small kids and then went to the pool (dirty). Soon after we went back into the dirty room because of the other "guests" who were drinking and looked like they hadn't had showers or shaved in a month. The next day we checked out early because of the loud noise all night.
We didnt like the fact that people actually LIVE in some of the hotel rooms...not the nicest looking people either. We got woken up SUPER early by one of the tenants kids, who were screamiing down the halls. One of the other tenants played loud...

They had an excellent location, adequate room and bed and friendly office assistance. I especially liked the free wi-fi connection for my laptop. It was the first time I had used that feature.
I am very likely
to return to the Desert Rose Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The room only had a shower so it was very difficult to bathe my child. No other room was available. The room had a stale odor and the air conditioning unit was noisy.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Desert Rose Inn.
I might recommend it to friends.
You're not paying for much!

Mediocre
The sheets were dirty so we slept in the other bed in the room, the a/c worked but the cover was broken and falling off, the breakfast was bare bones, but that's the way it was advertised. Room was adequate size but very outdated. No shower...
