Comfortable lodging at Denali Cabins greets you with well appointed 45 cedar cabins located near the entrance to Denali National Park. We combine the charm of Alaskan cabins with the comfort of a hotel room. You get all the amenities-private bath, TV, phone and comfortable beds. Plus you get your own fragrant cedar cabin nestled conveniently by the highway in the boreal forest next to Denali National Park.
Choose from a Single, Double or Suite for the cabin that's right for you. We add to the comfort and charm of Denali Cabins with a complimentary extended continental breakfast to start your day. Then return to our outdoor hot tubs for soaking at the end of an active day in Denali National Park.
Packaged with Day Trip
For guest convenience and comfort, a stay at Denali Cabins may also be combined with our narrated scenic & wildlife day trip into Denali National Park. Our day trip guests prefer to stay at Denali Cabins, so we reserved all of our cabins for them. This day trip departs Denali Cabins at 6:15 am, and returns at about 7:30 pm. It's the most complete day trip into Denali National Park that's available because it includes the guided trip, plus lunch and a short activity at exclusive Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna. Our company has restricted rights to operate scenic and wildlife narrated day trips into Denali National Park.
A Convenient Location
We are located just 8 miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park at Mile 229 of the Parks Hwy (Hwy 3), close enough for convenience yet far enough to avoid the bustling hotel lobbies and tourist crowds. Denali Cabins is 229 miles north of Anchorage, and about 120 miles south of Fairbanks.
Getting to Denali National Park
You can take a rental car, motorcoach, the Alaska Railroad or even charter a small plane to get to Denali National Park. If you take the Alaska Railroad, let us know and we'll pick you up at the Denali train depot. We offer courtesy shuttles from morning to night Denali Cabins to McKinley Village and the Denali National Park Visitors Center. Plan your shuttles and activities ahead for a smooth transportation system without a car.
Activities at Denali National Park
At Denali Cabins you can go rafting, flightseeing, take in a dinner theatre, tour Iditarod Champion Jeff King's sled dog kennel or join various Denali National Park Service programs. We can make most arrangements at our front desk or over the phone when you book your stay.
