66 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

It was close to the action. It had comfortable rooms and great service. The restaurants were a little overpriced.

This hotel made me feel welcome: It had a great pool for adults and different from kids.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Delta Chelsea Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

This is one of the "geographically" best placed hotels I've been to. It is right beside the Eaton Centre, restaurants, and transportation around town (a subway station). The hotel itself was not bad either. I found it quite clean, and the staff were friendly too. The price was fair, but the location definitely makes up for any flaws. If your visiting Toronto for a while, this hotel is a good choice, since it is just minutes from much of Toronto's attractions. Lots of places to shop, and a clean place to rest at night. Even if your just staying for a night, I would recommend trying the hotel restaurant, as it is comparable to some of the restaurants outside. Definitely worth checking out!

I am very likely to return to the Delta Chelsea Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

31 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The Delta Chelsea is a huge (1,500+ rooms) hotel smack dab in the center of downtown Toronto. It's always busy and packed with lots of stuff.

The large lobby has an English look with lots of polished wood and several restaurants and bars. Check in was quick and efficient on my recent stay (jan 31-feb 2, 2007), as was express check out. The color-coded elevator banks allow for fairly efficient movement of so many guests.

Rooms are on the smallish side, but are well-decorated and squeaky clean. The bathrooms are slightly smaller than average for comparable properties (ie sheratons or marriotts).

The hotel is always a beehive of activity with guests coming and going at all hours. The hotel has a nice pool and fitness room.

Delta Chelsea is on Gerrard, just off Yonge Street. The stretch of Yonge near the hotel is a bit sleazy (at least by Toronto standards), but the hotel is a short stroll from the huge Eaton Centre shopping complex. It's also close to the College and Dundas subway stations, meaning all of Toronto's many sights and attractions are a quick subway ride away.I liked that hotel & enjoyed alot Thanks to delta.....I will tell all of my friends about you.

This hotel is located at the core of downtown Toronto and close to all amenities. I stayed there when I was visiting friends and relatives in Toronto. The Eaton Shopping Center is just within 5 minutes walking distance, where I can do all my shopping for gifts. There is also a nearby subway station where I can travel across the city.

Even this is a relatively old hotel but the room was spacious and clean. The hotel staffs were polite and professional. I didn't try out the food at hotel restaurant because there are many nice restaurants right outside the hotel. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay in this hotel for business or leisure.

The title of this posting practically explains everything I'm about to say about the Delta Chelsea. The hotel wins based on the location of it. Maybe if it wasn't for the fact that it was near the downtown area I would have not selected this last time I came on business. The service was nothing spectacular, but I like the incentives they did provide for their guests. I got some vouchers for a free breakfast, which did make my day. But back to the location, I was able to meet with different companies at their office because it was fairly close. So this is the perfect place for business people like me to stay especially if your clients are located in the core of Toronto.
