22 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

A few months ago, I was in Calgary for a few days and stayed at the Delta Bow Valley hotel. I booked a few days prior leaving for my trip and I checked in at the hotel no problems. I did not want to spend a lot as I was just looking for a place to sleep and shower and the Delta had the rates I was looking for! The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The service was also excellent. The room was very clean and the beds were great. The bathroom was generously stocked daily. The location of the hotel is also great (located downtown) as it was close to many attractions and things to do. At around a hundred bucks per night, this is a great value considering the service and location!

30 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

After arriving at the Delta Bow Valley hotel in Calgary, we were delighted to stay in a hotel with an incredible mall right next to it. The hotel had polite staff; everyone was welcoming and friendly, always trying to serve our needs. The rooms were decorated to fit the occasion. The buffet was exquisite and I enjoyed about everything the hotel had to offer. Everything was just what we needed for a perfect getaway. This was just the hotel to capture my needs and let us live a haven of delight. In the end, we enjoyed the hotel and we had a wonderful vacation.

The Delta Bow Valley hotel is all about location. It is located near the downtown area, perhaps closer to the Oriental area. There are also different areas surrounding it which could spark some interest to individuals who are view lovers.

Rooms in the hotel are not supplied with a lot of features. It has its basic outline of beds, central air conditioning and television. More and more hotels are adopting internet into their rooms, but Delta Bow charges you for online access. I guess its to encourage kids to go outside rather than staying inside.

The structure of the hotel is standard, nothing about this hotel stands out and catches people's attention. A negative is the place charges for parking, so that was unexpected.

This hotel is the one you should be staying at if there are events happening in the downtown core.

I have been to this hotel last month with my wife and kids and they all enjoyed the services of the wondrous hotel. The prices are very reasonable especially for travelers like my family members. Both my kids and wife like the service there. I enjoy being there in the pool because it was good and the service was awesome. Many people there also liked the hotel and we were enjoying our life there. One of the greatest thing I like was the free lunch that was served by the hotel staff as an appreciation. Many people finds the hotel is awesome and so do us. If anyone is to go to this hotel then I simply recommend you to go to Delta Bow Valley hotel which is located at Alberta. It is good for a family vacation espeically you have kids. I want to rephrase this hotel is 9/10 even the one is gone to the service where we tend to have a bit difficulty in the first day. Therefore this is recommended hotel so I recommend this.

The central location of the Delta Bow Valley in Calgary is fantastic, especially if you plan to be in Calgary during events that are held in the downtown core. In addition to several street festivals held throughout the summer in Olympic park in downtown Calgary, the Delta is within walking distance of the Calgary Science Centre, the Glenbow Museum, the Calgary Zoo and beautiful walking trails along the river. The downtown core is very clean and the people are friendly and helpful.

During our stay at the Delta Bow valley we enjoyed a one-day Chinese festival that was literally outside the front doors of the hotel. There are several blocks of Chinese restaurants and shopping that are located very close to the hotel, but during this festival the organizers blocked off the streets so that the pedestrians could walk, eat and shop throughout a four-block radius.

The hotel is more expensive than other hotels that are not in the downtown core, but we have actually saved money because so many sites are within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel exercise facility is small but offers very good equipment and has a pool and hot-tub. The staff are knowledgeable about Calgary and all that it has to offer, and the concierge staff give detailed descriptions about locations and the current events (there are always so many!) in the city. Despite being downtown this is definitely a family hotel and the staff are very courteous and helpful to children and their parents!
