Marriott
Location. On the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Boulevard, the Delray Beach Marriott offers a convenient location in vibrant Delray Beach, Florida. Five miles from the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, the hotel is close to shops and sidewalk cafes, and stands 15 miles from Palm Beach International Airport. Hotel Features. With its Mediterranean, red-roofed façade and arched breezeways, this Marriott delivers boutique-hotel charm amid a tropical environment. A marbled lobby gets guests acclimated to the property. Further exploration yields an array of amenities, from an adults-only pool to another outdoor pool with an adjacent poolside bar and spa tub. For more recreation, guests can utilize the on-site fitness center, or take an enjoyable walk down Atlantic Avenue or on the beach, which is across the street. Many restaurants are located in the area, or guests can enjoy the white-linen table service of the on-site Seacrest Grill. Horseradish-marinated pork chops with pepper-mustard spaetzle is a standout dish. After dinner, live music is performed most nights at O'Grady's Lobby Lounge. Guestrooms. Airy affairs, guestrooms at the hotel are spacious and some feature ocean views. Earthtone fabrics melded with light-colored furniture and down bedding contribute to the rooms' breezy feel. Ergonomic work chairs and complimentary wireless Internet access help facilitate business for corporate travelers. Expert Tip. Since opening in 1977, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens has been a center for Japanese arts and culture in South Florida, with rotating exhibitions in its galleries and tea ceremonies.

Mediocre
I can not say anything nice about this hotel! The valet wrecked my show car!“The lady at the front desk said that my checkout would be at noon on the 19th, which would have been fine if I wasn't charged for two nights. I wasn't even in Florida on the ...

Disappointment in Delray. I stayed at this hotel with my kids for a week long spring break vacation. The thing I can say for the hotel is that it has a great locationjust across the street from a beautiful beach. Unfortunately that is where my positive comments on this hotel end. I do not have glowing words for any other aspect of this establishment. The service at the front desk was terrible. They obviously had overbooked the hotel and did not have enough staff. We had to move rooms once because the room we were given looked out over a garbage pick up area and was so noisy that we couldnt sleep. The move was a nightmare. They promised the room would be ready at 4 PM. My kids (5 and 7) and I ended up standing in the lobby in our wet swimsuits waiting for our new room for 1 ½ hours! Anything else to add? Anything good about this place? Hmmm .NOT!
I am not likely
to return to the Delray Beach Marriott.
I would not recommend it to friends.

My husband and I stayed for 6 days on a get-a-way vacation. We received excellent service from the cleaning staff to the pool attendants to the concierge(s). We especially got great assistance from concierge on duty day and night - we were able to...

Excellent
It seems the Marriott has changed their entertainment. A Jazz singer, Noreen Downey fills the room with her own brand of Jazz music. This is attracting people old and young, locals and tourists. She gets the dance floor filled, and her friendliness...
