Hotel Reviews > Pennsylvania Hotels > Deerfield Spa
We went there in the 90's for a week. It was very relaxing with some great food and a massage. Exercises included hiking during the day and exercise classes. At night, they had lectures and events like handwriting, reading, and a nutritionist came to speak. They also have games and such.
They cater mostly to women and create a family atmosphere more than an upscale expensive/exclusive spa. I went to primarily get my diet started and I did lose seven pounds that week. They have a room share program where they match you with a roomie for any single interested. I would go again. I went when the pool was closed, but it looked clean, they have water aerobics. You must be prepared for a diet cuisine with no caffeine.
