The front desk people was not very courteous when we arrived. Your website says that check in time is 3pm and check out is 12pm; which was the main reason why I chose your hotel. However, when I got to the hotel it was a different check in / check out time. This is clearly false advertisement. Here is the page link to prove that you are falsely advertising. http://www.deauvillebeachresort.com/faq.asp
The room in which I stayed, was HORRIBLE. The windows were so dirty that you could not see through them clearly. The beds were very hard. There were holes all over the walls. I've never seen a hotel room in such bad shape.
At night time, we tried to spend some time outside by the pool; just lounging on the chairs. A security guard came out and told us that we could not stay outside; there was a curfew on being outside. I had to wonder if I was staying at a prison or a resort.
In closing, my experience at the Deauville was horrible and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I have to agree with the previous poster, you will leave feeling you have been ripped off. 10U$ a day resort charges,20 dollars a day parking valet, old beds, but wonderful barber (Jessie) on the lower floor, very nice lobby excellent location.

I was at this hotel for a conference. WHile I was there someone car was broken into. Someones car was left on the street by the valet so a bus hit her car door. Another womans car jack was stolen. One mans luggage was stolen. The smoke detectors were covered on the 14th floor to stop them from going off as the floor was filled with smoke.
A Garmin was stolen from our room and security accused us.
We phoned the police who were just as disgusted as we were with their lack of concern or professionalism. THey had not even checked into who had access to our rooms and did not question any one but us.
One representitive of their security staff said to me, "Well did you see anyone steal it." As if to say well then it was not stolen.
They did not compensate us or offer to do anything. The police were the only people helpful.
There is a pervasive atmosphere of cover-up at that hotel which allows employess to steal with no consequences.
You are not safe their. Do Not Stay. They will steal anything and management does not care.
bad bad bad, I work for a Hotel and this is the first time, I felt like I was ripped off, they charge for a early check in, and worst into a rundown rooms, they should sell the rooms as it still looks like when the Beatles vistied, its better then...

When arrived at the Deauville a little early (check-in time was at 4pm. We arrived at 1:30p.) I approached the agent and advised her that both my partner and I were coming down with the flu and wanted to know if they could have housekeeping prepare our room first, so we could get in faster. We even offered more $$ for that type of room. The agent said she would do so and contact us when the room was ready. About 2:30p, the agent waved to us and said the room was ready for occupancy. Now, we had arranged to have an oceanview room. When we got to the room, it was what we expected, an oceanview room. The room overall was poor. The sheets on the bed were dirty and there were scarce amenities. We left a note for housekeeping asking that they clean our beds everyday, so we would have fresh linen to sleep on each day.
The hotel offered a restaurant and a spa service. The restaurant was more like a nightclub rather than a sit down dinner and the spa was a separate business within the hotel. I think the best part of our stay was the spa.
The night before we left, I decided to check out our bill. (They offer a service where you can view your bill on the television) You wouldn't believe my reaction when I saw that they charged us a $120 upgrade on our room. When they checked us in, they upgraded us to a oceanview with a balcony. This was never told to us at check-in. I assumed our room came with a balcony hence oceanview. But according to them, they are two separate rooms. I had to spend over two hours arguing with the manager about this. They finally decided to give us a credit but it took over two weeks to post into our account.
With that said, I would not recommend this hotel. The lobby was impeccible (except for the rooms) and the majority of the staff were friendly but my experience was not impressive to say the least.
