The converted monastery was quaint, historic, clean and wonderful. Our window opened onto the Loire river, it was beautiful. Of all the places we have stayed, this was one of the most memorable.....I can't wait to return.

Okay
This old abbey has been converted into a hotel, and is quite comfortable and rather more interesting than your average hotel. It made a nice change for us, and is elegant in a shabby sort of way, without being very expensive.
