Days Inn Warfordsburg Motel - Page 1

I slept in a black shirt and woke up with hair from a previous guest all over my shirt. It was disgusting. There was an odd smell in the hallway, that was sort of like the smell of pickles. I don't think it was pickles though. The restaurant next door, Opal's Restaurant, had bad service and worse food. It was the only place to eat though, unless you wanted a dusty truck stop hot dog. My advice is to stay somewhere else.

Food was terrible, service was terrible, the pillow case on my bed had hair from a previous guest on it. The water comes out of the faucet dirty. The front desk employees could barely speak English and told me this was because they have "well water". There are plenty of clean hotels in Breezewood, which is only about 8 miles away from this place.

This hotel is terrible. The restaurant next door is owned by the same people and is also terrible. The water comes out of the faucets dirty. The fan in the bathroom doesn't work in my room. My sheets had hair on them from a previous guest. They obviously don't use bleach on their white towels that are turning brown. The remote control doesn't work on the 19 year old TV (no exaggeration it is really that old I've been visiting this hotel each year since 1988). The maid didn't clean our room the first day. I can't believe that Days Inn allows them to use their name. I complained to the front desk, but the family who own this place do not speak English very well and did not fix any of the problems. They did not care about my satisfaction after they got the money for the room. The accommodation's used to be good, but have been going downhill the last few years and finally hit rock bottom this year. Do yourself a favor and keep driving for about 8 more miles into Breezewood where there are clean hotels.

Some of the Days Inns are much nicer than others. In my opinion, location has a lot to do with the up-to-date accommodations.
