When we got there, we began to fear for our safety. It looked more like the local gangster hangout than a good motel. There were shady looking people roaming the property. We were checked in by Andy Patel, the manager of the motel. When we got to our room we noticed that the night lock had been broken off like someone had recently broken into the room. Despite all this we were going to try to stay the night. We went to get some dinner and came back. As we were walking up to our room we saw the manager of the motel chit-chatting with a man who looked like he was a drug dealer outside the room next to ours. There seemed to be some really shady activity going on around this place. Then we sat down on the bed to try to figure out what to do and our feet went into the air. The foot of the bed was higher than the head of the bed. If we would have slept there all the blood would have run to our heads. That was the final straw. We wanted out of there. We had only spent a total of 5 minutes in the room so we went to the front desk to ask for a refund. Molly Patel was at the front desk. When we asked for our money back she told us that she had to make sure the room was clean before she could give us our money back. Of course it was, but when she came back she had the manager of the hotel on her cell phone. She handed me her cell phone to talk to him and he told me he could not give us our money back, that he could only move us to another room. Obviously we didnt want another room, we wanted to leave.
