The location is a bit far from downtown, but not inconvenient. I could not use the pool on arrival due to it being reserved for someone's birthday party. The price was competitive.
I am very likely
to return to the Days Inn Chattanooga Downtown- Lookout Mountain.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It’s in an unsafe part of town, the rooms were dirty. The other only guests in the hotel were us (with two kids).
There was construction going on all over, with dirt and dust and furniture all over the hallways. I don’t think I have ever left a hotel before (and came in from 6 hours away, so not that I knew what next to do) but walked out in 5 minutes: it was that bad.
Our high school stayed here March 2007, and we had nothing but problems. It’s a very unsafe area. We had kids staying at the hotel and the police swarmed the hotel at 1:00 am for a crime. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Horrible
The hotel was in the middle of a remodel, and 90% of the rooms had their doors removed, stacks of tvs, beds, were stacked all over the place. We reserved a 3 bed suite, and got a standard room with 2 double beds, and a pull out couch.
