53 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

We had prepaid reservations here for Dec. 14 & 15. I suffered a heart attack on Dec. 12th. My wife immediately called the motel to cancel and the manager said "No Cancellations!" She asked if we could move the reservation to a later date and he said "No!" I called and emailed Days Inn Corporation and was told that this was a franchised location and they had no authority over this motel. I emailed and mailed the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce and never got a reply. Stay away from this motel and avoid being ripped off.
