Days Inn Schenectady Hotel - Page 1

Any positive reviews you read about this hotel are clearly written by the staff. This hotel is in possibly the worst area of town with poor lighting. The lobby and all of the hallways were gross with large stains every few feet. The elevator buttons did not function properly and the doors shut on us as we walked in. The hotel room had an odor to it, stains all over the tub and the shower rod holding the shower curtain up pulled half way out of the wall. The bed was wet with something when we arrived. Outside the room was a constant honking of car horns which would have led to a not so peaceful sleep. After staying less than two minutes we checked out and asked for our money back. The clerk stated he could NOT refund our money because we made a reservation before checking in. He went on to explain he was charging us a extra dollar because the room had a safe in it which we never requested. After staying at a competitor for the night my wife and I began to make phone calls seeking to get our money back. As of now we are still waiting for corporate to take action to refund our money. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The general cleanliness and disrepair of the room was unacceptable.

This motel was close to our convention. I have used them before and like their service. It is easy to find as well.

It was very pleasant to stay in Days Inn Schenectady.
