37 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
While assured we would get a non smoking room, we were given a smoking room and told we were stuck with it for our week's stay. The hotel was nearly empty and, finally, after a few upsetting phone calls with our discount reservation service we were given a non smoking room. The hotel is old and not very clean at all. We came back to our room at about four o'clock in the afternoon and we had to wait for the cleaning crew. They were not very polite at the service desk either. They were not pleasant at all. It was affordable, but it is well worth more money to go elsewhere!
I am not likely
to return to the Days Inn Savannah- Oglethorpe Mall/Midtown.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This motel is shabby and is poorly maintained. Example: the wallpaper border along the top of the wall in our room was peeling and hanging down in the room's corner.
The room was non-smoking, but smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke. Mold was visible in the bathroom area.
I regret that I did not leave immediately after first entering the room.
My wife and I will never stay at another Day's Inn.

Room very dirty. Couldnt get front desk to answer phone. Staff very rude. They charged my check visa card 3 times cause the girl was new which caused me to bounce checks and they did nothing to correct the problem after I got home. The Days Inn...
