Days Inn Sandy Springs Motel

The night clerk was more than accomodating; however any instructions that he passed on never seemed to make any difference to the day people. After a long, tiring day I do not like to remake my bed, i.e. take off bedspread, untuck blanket and sheets, remove pillows as I have my own, etc. I left instructions that all I wanted done in the 5 day stay was redo towels twice and to leave everything else alone. Everyday the bed would be made and my pillows would be thrown in the corner, computer equipment would be sitting on the bath counter, if I had a crossword puzzle laying half finished on the desk it would be gone, etc. Also they use Excel Communications for their phone service and I could never get out on a local dial up number because Excel said it was a long distance area code, even at the front desk. Forced to find a Starbucks, or other service for wireless which sometimes went late in the night. The room was clean enough; however, with a dusty smell from carpet. For the price range it was adequate since I was only sleeping there; however, I would not choose that stay if I were planning to spend awake time in the room. It served my purpose but I would more than likely not choose to stay there in the future.
