with a budget, traveling for leisure
I booked a room for the nights of 8/19/08-08/21/08 through cheaptickets.com at this hotel. I booked a non- smoking room and called 4 days before to comfirm the booking. I arrived at 10 8/19 at 9:00 p.m to check in. I was greeted by a man, who would later say his name was "Hari Potter". He swiped my credit card and went to my room. I open the door to find a foul, years old smoked smelling room. I told Hari I wanted another room. No rooms. I wanted my money back. Hari said,"I'm charging you for one night". I then called cheap tickets where I was greeted by people on the phone who obviously were not from around here (the U.S) and were of no help, but offered me a $25.00 coupon for my next booking. Stay away.. far away from this place.

Perfect match of location and luscious space. Clean and airy interiors.
All the amenities provided were of good use. The internet however
didn't work as expected.
A petloving motel and the special bay for the kids. The clean pool was
fabulous.
A real escapade for the weekends.

We did not feel safe!

20 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
First off, when arriving in our room, we noticed that our cards to open the door worked very poorly. Had to swipe it multiple times to get in room. The door was even a pain to open as it seemed to kind of jam. Also, the top quilt on the bed had cigarette holes. This was not the worst part. One night some weirdo came knocking on every door on the hall claiming to be "SFPD"(San Francisco Police Department) telling us to "open up, open up." Being cautious, we asked to see his badge through the peep hole at which point he covered up the peep hole. We then heard (and saw through the peep hole) the manager come out and tell the guy to "get out of here because he's had complaints." The thing about this whole thing is, the doors to the outside are supposed to be card only access after 10PM and this occured at 2AM. In the morning when we had planned to leave, the management gave us conflicting stories on how the guy got in, etc. and then only gave us 10% off for our night of not being able to sleep. Also, breakfast consisted of apples and 1 box of danishes which was basically gone by the time we got out there. So, to finalize, don't stay in this place if you want to have any sense of security. Seems to be in the bad part of town. I'd rather pay a little more and feel safe than stay in this shack again.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My request for extra towels was responded to quickly. I appreciated their suggestions for local restaurants.
